Every week I’ll be answering any question about the Disney-MGM Studios from planning questions to “what happened to...” questions. So if you’ve got something you’ve been wondering about or simply need clarification, please feel free to email them to me.
Im looking on a website right now and it gives a 2 out of 5 rating from teens because some found it boring. Now maybe I am a nerd but I am teen and I found very interesting and neat to learn about the man behind the magic... - Dale M.
When it comes to teen ratings, most go with the assumption teenagers love thrill rides that physically engage them and the assumption anything less than inducing vomit is not of interest to teens. The reality is you can find a teenager that would love this attraction and a teenager that would hate it, just like any other age group. To better guage this attraction, you have to know the teenager in your group. Walt Disney:One Man's Dream is about appreciating the genius of Walt Disney. It's a testament to what Walt did over the course of his life. Older teenagers will likely have the most appreciation for this attraction while the youngest teenagers will likely be a little lost and perhaps the mid-range teenagers bored. Again, these are generalizations and I'm sure you can find plenty of 13 and 15 year olds who love it and 18 and 19 year olds who hate it.
The kids definately want to meet the Incredibles. We went to the Magic of Disney Animation last year and saw them AFTER. Can we skip the show somehow?? - Marie S.
You're in luck because you can see the characters at the end of the Magic of Disney Animation tour without waiting and then going on the tour. Simply enter through the Animation Gallery gift shop (located to the right of the entrance to the Magic of Disney Animation) and follow the hallway past the exhibits Animation Academy which will lead you to the room where the Incredibles are.
Does Fantasmic run every night? My dh says that it only runs on certain days but I think they run every night. - Gregg L.
Fantasmic! runs every night at least once. During busier times of the year there may be more than one showing and on VERY busy nights of the year, there can be 3 showings in one night. As always, I recommend going to the LAST showing of the night as crowds will be much less prevalent.
