Every week I’ll be answering any question about the Disney-MGM Studios from planning questions to “what happened to...” questions. So if you’ve got something you’ve been wondering about or simply need clarification, please feel free to email them to me (use the form below).
I have recently returned from vacation at Walt Disney World. The pre-show for Beauty and the Beast at MGM featured an a capella signing group. My biggest regret is that I didn’t gat their name (I think it was the something 4). They mentioned that their CD was available at the Disney store but I was unable to find it. Could you please let me know their name and where I can purchase the CD. - Trevor
The group you saw was Four for a Dollar, who perform regularly before the start of Beauty and the Beast on Sunset Boulevard. Off Disney World property, they are known as Return to Zero and have 3 cd's available. This is a very talented group and many folks enjoy the variety of entertaininment. If you want to get their CD (or are just interested in more information about the group), visit their website at www.return2zero.net.
Hi! I would like to know if there is a way of ordering an electronic R2-D2 toy from your Tatooine Traders store in Disney-MGM park. Please advise me. Thank you very much. - Gil
As always, if a merchandise item from the park is still in stock (emphasis on if as Disney swaps out its merchandise pretty often), you can purchase it by contacting Disney Merchandise and calling 407-363-6200. If it is in stock you could have it within 5 business days.
When did the extreme stunt show first appear at the Florida Studios. that is what year, thank you - Brian
The Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show opened up on May 5, 2005, as part of the Happiest Celebration on Earth celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort. The attraction came from Disneyland Paris, where it opened in March of 2002. And of course, Lights, Motors, Action replaced the residential street area of the Backlot Tour where many guests remember seeing the Golden Girls house.
