Sounds Dangerous to close for one month
Sounds Dangerous Sounds Dangerous will close for a short one month rehab on July 7th and run through August 5th. No major changes are expected during this rehab and is expected to simply be general sprucing up. The Golden Age Souvenirs shop located adajcent to the attraction will also be closed during this time.

2008 Osborne Lights dates announced
2008 Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights Disney has released the dates for the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights to be on display for this year. The lights will turn on November 28, 2008 and run through January 4, 2009. This is a bit of a change from the past few years when the lights would be on by mid-November.

American Idol attraction to open in January
Studios name changes to Disney's Hollywood Studios

It's been announced that the new American Idol attraction, called American Idol Experience, will open at Disney's Hollywood Studios sometime in January 2009. Further details on the attraction are not yet available but should be announced as we get closer to the opening of the attraction.

Prince Caspian debuts at the Studios
Chronicles of Narnia A Prince Caspian meet-n-greet has debuted at Disney's Hollywood Studios, allowing guests to meet the star of the newest Narnia film in person. Prince Caspian will start regular meet-n-greets starting on May 15 and has a backdrop behind him to take photos with.

Registration for Tower of Terror 13k open
Tower of Terror 13k Registration for the 2008 Tower of Terror 13k is now open. The 6.5k race is not being offered this year it seems as registration only allows for the 13k race. The race is set to happen on the evening of October 25, 2008.
